How to join the Scientific library

1. The process of joining the library, registration and issuance of ID cards (electronic library cards) is carried out at the Reception (room 117, Building 7) upon consent of providing the necessary personal information.

2. When joining the library, all categories of users (p. 2 Library Users of the Library Terms of Use) shall provide a personal identity document. The following categories of users shall also provide:

• University staff (teaching staff, teaching and support staff) – a certificate from the HR department;
• IFPE (Institution of Further Professional Education) students – certificate of the IFPE listener from the IFPE dean;
• Degree candidates – a certificate from the Postgraduate Study Department;
• City doctors and others (non-BSMU-employees) – a letter of approval from workplace or educational organisation, and an application signed by the head of the library indicating the period of use of the library.

3. On the basis of the provided documents, ID card is issued and an electronic user form is created.

4. The ID card is the only document which gives the right to use the library. The user is responsible for all the literature, issued to their ID card.
