Film "Patch Adams"

On 15 and 18 March the international club Between the Cultures invited the students to watch one of the most interesting and at the same-time thought-provoking film "Patch Adams".

The film, based on real events, tells the audiense about the incredible desire of a person not just to become a doctor, but to serve people, to help them in a difficult situation. The film is about the dedication and full immersion of the character in the profession, when it becomes not just a profitable business, but part of his fate.

Overcoming all obstacles on the way to the dream, PatchAdams still was able to prove that important factors in the recovery of patients are not only medicines and bed rest, but also laughter and all that causes a smile on his face. Laughter as the best medicine for any disease creates an atmosphere of comfort and warmth even in the hospital room.

Film "Patch Adams" once again showed that in such a profession as a doctor, the main thing is love for people, the desire to help them and the belief that they will get better.

Having watched the film, it became clear that the students were inspired and the film, no doubt, left its pace in their hearts.
