"Excellent Presentation: tips, secrets, examples" part 1

Being a student of the Bashkir State Medical University does not mean only to be a student of one of the most prestigious University of Ufa and Republic and Russia, but it means that one should and will study hard and fruitfully during all the years, and take part in a great number of events both intellectual and entertaining.

BSMU International Club Between the Cultures aims at giving the international students as much knowledge and skills on staying in Russia as possible. One more aim of the Club is to help the international students to adopt to the educational and social conditions of life in the country.

So besides different entertaining meetings for international students like "Great Russia", Merry Christmas, Maslenitsa, watching deep and thought-provoking films, the International club organises educational and evolving events. 

On 2 April the International club Between the Cultures organised the student readings "Excellent Presentation: tips, secrets, examples".

The goal of the first part of the training is to help the international students to prepare for presentaion their reports in conferences, forums and scientific round tables. The speakers - Senapati Shivaji (group 305Б of the faculty of Genral Medicine) and Khan Anas (group 401A of the faculty of General Medicine) - precisely outlined their topics "Resources: printed and e-books & journals" and "Tips and techniques for Effective Presentation" relatively.

Senapati Shivaji told the audience about the way to find the most respectable and reliable sources for preparing text of presentation. What resources and how one should use to make his/her report significant and interesting at the same time for the audience. He also pointed out the reasons of usage only really respectable journals and books while studying in the University and preparing for scientific meetings.

Khan Anas spoke about the ways of making presentations interesting and memorable for the audience. He emphasized the importance of not only good knowelege of the material but the  visual appearance of the presentaition.

The speakers were very pleased to see the positive reaction of the spectators, their questions and respond that they did.

Between the Cultures invites to visit the second part of "Excellent Presentation: tips, secrets, examples" on 5 April at 6 pm in theConference hall of BSMU Library.
