The BSMU scientific library opened its doors at the same time as the university more than 90 years ago. The initial fund consisted of professors' personal books and rare medical textbooks. The library was open even during the war, providing literature to those students who, in a short time, learned how to save lives at the front and in the rear.
Today the scientific library is a modern center with electronic catalog, access to international databases (Springer, Ovid, Wiley, etc.), and coworking spaces. Rare editions from the 1930s stand side by side with the latest articles on medical genetics on our bookshelves.
We congratulate all those who study, work and find answers in our library!
