Biology First: Get to Know the Core Literature

The BSMU Scientific Library hosted an overview of a new book exhibition "Biology first: essential books for a core discipline" which focused on the key discipline of medical education: biology.

International first-year students got to know the basic textbooks and study guides to prepare for classes and exams. The librarian also presented more narrowly-focused textbooks on biochemistry, genetics, microbiology, and other subjects; these books are useful for writing abstracts, scientific articles and for in-depth self-study.

Some of the books are available for online reading on the "Student Consultant" and "Bookup" platforms through the university subscription. 

The exhibition "Biology first: essential books for a core discipline" will be on display until May 12. We invite everyone to get familiar with the current literature on biology and related disciplines.
